Broadway Melodies

You'll be seeing stars. Catch a show after dinner. Royal Caribbean prides itself on top-notch entertainment. Celebrity guests and the Rhapsody's own song-and-dance company, the Wave Revue, will entertain you each evening of your cruise. The new state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment only enhances the production. Royal Caribbean opted to build Broadway Melodies with theater seating rather than lounge style banquettes, a decision that enhances the audience's comfort and view of the stage.   

Viking Crown Lounge

The definition of panoramic view. A Royal Caribbean signature, this circular lounge is traditionally constructed around the ship's funnel. However, on the Rhapsody and her sister ships, the Viking Crown was moved forward, closer to the center of the ship. The lounge is united via elevators with the Centrum, thus connecting it to the heart of the Rhapsody. This new location affords better views of the pool. As usual, the surrounding ocean vista will awe you. On a ship with so many windows, it takes a lot to take your breath away, but the Viking Crown is up to the challenge. After hours the lounge is converted into a discotheque, where you can get down to your favorite hits from the 70's, 80's, and 90's.   


Casino Royale

Thank your lucky stars. The celestially themed casino offers many opportunities to hit the jackpot. Try your luck at the slot machines or test your skill at the tables. The gaming choices include blackjack, craps, roulette, and Caribbean stud poker. Even if you don't want to play, drop in to experience the echo chamber and kinetic light ball. Don't worry about missing "the big game" a bar within the casino broadcasts news and sports, depending on the time of day.       

Shall We Dance Lounge

So much more than just a ballroom. This large gathering place hosts all sorts of events throughout the day and evening dance lessons, karaoke competitions, stretch classes, bingo tournaments, cocktail parties, participatory "game shows," and trivia contests. A classy, starry-ceiling, 1940's Hollywood decor lends an aura of vintage glamour to the room's nighttime events.   

Schooner Bar

A pirate's life for me. Sing along to the old standbys at this piano bar. A Royal Caribbean favorite, this nautically themed lounge is a great place for that post-show round of drinks, jokes, and conversation.   

Champagne Bar

Located in the Centrum, this classy bar offers cocktails and a great setting for conversation. Musical performances create an atmosphere of subdued elegance.   

Pool Bar

What's the point of lounging on a deck chair without an accompanying beverage? (And someone to bring it to you?)   

Solarium Bar

Poolside drinks are must-have relaxation aides, even in ancient Egypt.
